For Science Technology Engineering Art/Design and Mathematics
Each science night has a theme highlighting a different field in science or technology. Science nights are led by local experts from the community. Availability is limited and sign up is required
The Makerspace is available to all OCE students through classroom participation and special events. It provides students with the resources, tools, and space to invent, tinker, design, and create.
The Coding Club is available to all OCE students during lunch hour, one time per week. Parents must sign a permission form. Students practice and learn basic coding skills using age appropriate coding platforms.
The STEAM Fair is an annual event open to all OCE students. Participants can exhibit a science board and/or display their original art work while sharing what they have learned with parents, staff, and peers.

The Art Literacy program is run by parent volunteers and is brought to each classroom one time per month. Each month highlights the work and life of a different artist. Students create a piece of art in the style of the featured artist.
